Boost your event ranking with optimal Troop deployment and alliance reinforcement strategies. Dispatch all your Infantry and Cavalry to assist allies, while keeping your Archer and top Heroes for home defense. Learn the exact Plains HQ reinforcement ratios for Waves 10 and 20, coordinate elite waves with online members, and utilize alternative accounts to dominate the leaderboard.

Event Overview

This challenge runs every other week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The invasion consists of 20 waves of enemy attacks. Note: Governors with a Town Center level below 7 cannot participate.

Core Objective

Protect your base and support the settlements of your allies. Securing a kill rate of 50% or higher against the incoming Vikings is mandatory for maximum points. A top rank relies heavily on proper Troop distribution, active reinforcements, and alliance headquarters defense.

Defense Rules

If your base defense fails twice (killing less than 50% of enemies), the invasion against you will cease. When this happens, immediately recall your Troop units and send them to assist other members. For Elite Waves, the target must be online; assisting an offline player yields 0 points.

Preparation

Bring your Troop units back from the map and drop your coordinates in the chat for easy reinforcements. Avoid healing your Infantry or Cavalry during the combat phase. Stay close to active members to minimize travel time.

Pro Tips

Utilize alternative accounts to boost your score. Empty the Troop units from your farm cities and reinforce them with your main account to secure 100% of the elimination points. Always prioritize sending out your Infantry. Retain your 3 strongest Heroes to protect your own wall.

Scoring Mechanism Guide

Home Defense

Maintain a 50% kill rate or higher to maximize base points.

💡 Successfully repelling the horde grants the maximum rewards. Send any excess Troop units to aid your allies.

Reinforcement

Gain extra points equivalent to 50% of your own kills while reinforcing.

💡 Support active members who have lower combat power. The recipient's points will not be affected, making this a pure win-win scenario.

Post-Breach Support

Provide continuous support after your wall fails.

💡 Once you burn twice and the attacks stop, deploy every remaining Troop to defend other players and continue farming points.

Alliance Bonus

Active multipliers during Elite Waves (Waves 7, 14, and 17).

💡 Focus on targets that are currently online. The overall point multiplier for the alliance scales with the total number of active participants.

Heroes and Troop Allocation

Garrison your base with your 3 most powerful Heroes. They are crucial for preventing a base breach.

Deploy your Infantry and Cavalry to other cities. Keep your Archer inside your settlement. If your march queues are full, prioritize sending out your Infantry.

Wave-by-Wave Tactics

Primary Tactic: Focus your backup marches on members who have already emptied their Infantry and Cavalry, specifically those currently online.

Normal Waves

Waves 1 to 6, 8 to 13, and 15 to 19.

Dispatch all your Infantry and Cavalry to reinforce the alliance.

💡

Retain only your Heroes and Archer at your base. Having 0 Infantry and 0 Cavalry at home ensures that the backup Infantry from allies absorb all incoming damage.

Elite Waves

Waves 7, 14, and 17.

When assisting online targets, use a ratio of 5 to 5, or 6 to 4 for your Infantry and Cavalry.

💡

Verify the activity status of your targets before the slow-marching enemies arrive. This delay provides ample time to adjust your Troop deployments manually.

Alliance HQ Waves

Waves 10 and 20.

Vikings will attack the [Plains HQ] first. If no [Plains HQ] has been placed, they will attack the [Badland HQ]. Send marches right after the 9th and 19th assaults conclude.

💡

Ensure the garrison leader has the highest Rally Capacity. Avoid sending any Archer. Follow the ratios in the table below for optimal performance.

HQ Ratio Requirements (Waves 10 & 20)

The primary objective for the Alliance HQ is avoiding a breach. The 10th assault demands heavy damage output, whereas the 20th requires extreme durability.

Wave 10

Maximum Damage

Infantry to Cavalry Ratio

3: 7 or 4 : 6

Core Tactic

Since the attackers are relatively weak, the fast attack speed of your Cavalry compared to your Archer guarantees a massive share of the kill points.

Wave 20

Survival and Defense

Infantry to Cavalry Ratio

6 : 4 or 7 : 3

Core Tactic

The incoming damage is overwhelming. A heavy frontline of Infantry is mandatory to absorb the hits. Without them, the defense collapses and your Cavalry will be wiped out.
