Kingshot How to Maximize Bear Hunt Damage in Kingshot
Description
The Bear Hunt is the core method for acquiring Forgehammer and Enhancement XP Part. To maximize your damage yield within the limited number of rallies, players must precisely configure their Heroes lineup, troop ratios, and Pets skills.
Based on the output buff mechanics in the current Generation 1-6 meta, this guide breaks down how to optimize your damage output.
Core Bear Hunt Hero Recommendations
Infantry Heroes
Infantry Hero Selection: Amadeus is the top choice. His expedition skills and exclusive gear provide pure output buffs, guaranteeing a high damage ceiling. Helga serves as a viable alternative. For free-to-play players, Zoe is recommended due to her highly cost-effective garrison attack traits.
Optimal Troop Ratio Rules (Infantry/Cavalry/Archer)
Due to the combat mechanics of the Bear Hunt, a minimum number of Infantry must be kept in the march to absorb base damage. A count of no less than 5,000 (or about 5%) is recommended.
In the current meta up to Generation 6, the Lethality gap between Cavalry and Archer gradually widens. It is recommended to keep the cavalry ratio around 25%.
If the Archer Lethality has achieved absolute dominance, you can further compress the cavalry to 10-15% and push the archer ratio above 80%.
Note: There is no universally perfect ratio. Players need to fine-tune their ratio by ±1% to 5% based on their actual Lethality stats to find their personal single-hit damage peak.

Pet Synergy
Activate Pet skills before the event starts to maximize stats such as Attack, Lethality, Deployment Capacity, and Rally Capacity.
Troop Fine-Tuning and Testing Rules
Using Lethality as the core baseline: The more your Archer Lethality leads, the higher their proportion in the march should be.
Conversely, if equipment or tech gives your Cavalry an advantage in Lethality, adjust the Cavalry inclusion ratio upwards accordingly.
Combat Testing Tip: During the event, keep your heroes unchanged and adjust the Cavalry and Archer ratios in 1% to 5% increments. Record the final damage each time; the set with the highest value represents your current optimal ratio.
